We are now accepting submission of abstracts for consideration for an ACS Division of Chemical Information (CINF) Symposium at the ACS Fall 2015 Meeting in Boston, MA, Aug 16-20, 2015.
Dr. Frank Allen, winner of the ACS CINF Herman Skolnik Award in 2003, passed away on November 10, aged 70. The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) writes “Frank joined the Chemical Crystallography Group at the University of Cambridge in 1970 and played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Cambridge Structural Database. He went on to become the Scientific Director and then the Executive Director of the CCDC.

Designed to help persons with an interest in the fields of Chemistry and Information to pursue graduate study in Library, Information, or Computer Science, the Scholarship consists of a $1,500 honorarium. This scholarship is given yearly by the Division of Chemical Information of the American Chemical Society.
